HEADCANONS

These are just some basic headcanons I go with for Bakugou, and I'm in no way claiming them to be canon or anything, so please take them with a grain of salt and bear with me! If any of these end up conflicting with canon information I'll remove them!

•I headcanon/play him as having Intermittent Explosive Disorder because I feel it fits with a lot of his behavior and characterization within the source material and he does display enough of the symptoms and risk factors for that diagnosis to make sense within the realm of knowledge we have of him and his behavior and background. This probably won't factor into any threads really, especially since I don't play him as having it diagnosed because if I was I'm sure he'd probably at least be on some sort of medication for it. But this is where I'll probably be rooting a lot of the deeper/more psychological backdrop for the way I write him. Just something to keep in mind, I guess?
•We know that he canonically likes to climb mountains, so I sort of headcanon him as being super into the outdoors and he likes to just skulk off into the woods to blow off steam a lot of the time in the summer.
•Another thing we know rooted in canon is that he likes spicy foods, so I headcanon him as being super competitive about it to the point that he'll order food too spicy for the human mouth to handle just to prove he can eat it.
•A headcanon about sleep: his sleep schedule is a mess. We've canonically seen him going to bed at 8:00 PM, but getting up at noon on days off, so he only has a good sleep schedule on school days and on his days off he's a mess who just sleeps whenever he wants and his moods are even worse because of it.
•He secretly likes to knit and if somehow you end up close to him he'll probably make you a scarf and just throw it at you like "Here you go, asshole, it's cold out!" but he'll probably never admit that he made it himself.
•He's afraid of clowns, and he'll just sort of try to blow them up on sight.
•He's actually a huge baby when it comes to horror movies, but he pretends he's not. He'll watch them all the time just to prove (to no one) that he's not scared and pretend he thinks they're really stupid and lame, but in reality he's practically crapping his pants over them.
•He's never kissed anyone, but if you ever asked him about it he'd just tell you to shut up and call you a shitty loser instead of admitting it.
•He can actually be really soft sometimes but he'd never show it or admit it no matter what, and the more emotional or affected something makes him feel, the bitchier he acts.
•He's really scared of emotional intimacy or getting close to people, and so the very idea of it just pisses him off to no end.
•He loves Mcdonald's and other fast food places.
•He likes anything with bacon on it.
•He was a giant baby about getting hurt when he was a little kid and so now when he experiences pain he just turns into a giant asshole just to prove it doesn't bother him.
•This isn't so much a headcanon as an analysis or assumption, but he doesn't really know himself all that well. He's young and still figuring himself out, so that translates to him being very touchy about personal issues, especially when it comes to parts of his personality and thoughts that he doesn't have a clear understanding of. He becomes irrationally angry when he doesn't understand something about himself or his motives. He likes to be someone who has a very clear path and knows exactly why he does things that he does, and so when he does something motivated by anger that he doesn't understand the source of, he becomes even angrier and pushes people even farther away.
•He has no idea how to accept help from people, and the idea of having to makes him angrier than anything else. Rather than knowing how to accept that people care for him and want to help him succeed, he takes this as them perceiving him as weak and rejects them outright. This might be part of the reason things ended up the way they did with Izuku?
•He's obsessed with Tarantino movies
•He didn't learn how to tie his own shoes until middle school

I have a lot more I'm sure, but I'll have to add them as I go because there's too much to gather together in one sitting.
